services

The LJS holds weekly services on Friday evenings at 18.45 and on Shabbat mornings at 11.00 as well as festival evening and morning services. Times of forthcoming services can be found here.
Shabbat services are streamed live via the internet. Call 020 7286 5181 for more details.
Services are led by the rabbis and there are many opportunities for members to be involved in leading the prayers in Hebrew and English. Liberal Judaism has its own prayer books: ‘Siddur Lev Chadash’ for Shabbat, daily and festival services and ‘Machzor Ruach Chadashah’ for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
Coffee or tea is served from 10.15 before the Shabbat morning service and there is a Kiddush after the service.
Music plays an important part in our services and is led by a professional
choir and, once a month, by our members’ choir.
Visitors are very welcome to join us for any of our services. Tickets are required only for the High Holy Day services. We ask you to understand our need for security and to bring some identification if you are visiting for the first time.

Please call the office on 020 7432 1296 to let us know you are coming so that you can be assured of a warm welcome.
We also welcome groups interested in learning more about Judaism and about our stunning Sanctuary and unique Shoah memorial.

Please call 020 7286 5181 for more details.
