In Pursuit of Justice

Join us to hear five remarkable speakers on their own personal journeys that have led them to pursue justice:

Lord Dubs, Life Peer, former MP and author of the Dubs Amendment, requiring the UK government to negotiate an agreement with the EU to ensure the reunion of unaccompanied children with a relative in the UK

Dr Eliane Glaser, academic, writer, broadcaster and radio producer, and Reader in Creative Writing at Bath Spa University

Dame Vivien Rose, Judge of the Court of Appeal and Member of the LJS

Graham Carpenter, UK Community Manager at Olam: (Re-Imagining Global Agriculture and Food Systems), Member of the LJS and Member of Liberal Judaism’s Board of National Officers

Rabbi Jeffrey Newman, Rabbi Emeritus at Finchley Reform Synagogue, Extinction Rebellion activist and elder

7.00 pm There will be a short reading of the Megillah (Book of Esther)
7.30 pm A light supper with vegetarian food provided by Spice Caravan, a collective of refugee and migrant women
8.00 pm Each speaker will tell us about their personal journey in the pursuit of justice

Come for the whole evening or just for the story hour. Suggested £7 donation for those attending the supper.
